Loading Coin Mechanism (GVC 1 & GVC 2)
It’s important to make sure your Wittern vending machine’s coin mechanism is filled with coins. Without coins in your coin mechanism, your vending machine will not be able to accept dollar bills and deliver change to your customers.
Watch this video to learn how to load change in the coin mechanism in your GVC1 or GVC2 vending machine.
Load the coin mechanism with at least one roll of each type of coin to avoid activating the low-level sensors. Inserting the coins into the front coin insert is the right way to feed the coins into the coin mechanism.
Start by putting your machine in service mode by pressing the button in the small hole on the control board cover. On the door keypad, choose number one to activate tube fill mode. Fill with coins with dollar coins, quarters, dimes and nickels and they will be automatically deposited in the appropriate tubes. Although the tubes may be filled using the coin slots, filling in the coin fill mode makes sure that the control board accurately determines coin levels. The process of placing coins into your machine’s coin mechanism is simple and straightforward.
