Upper iVend Replacement (Model 3589)
This video describes how to replace the upper iVend in your Model 3589 vending machine. iVend is an innovative infrared sensing system that contains an infrared light emitter and receiver mounted on each side of the delivery box. The iVend infrared emitter projects beams of light covering the opening of the delivery bin.
During the first vend cycle, if the beam of the iVend system does not sense a product, the system waits one second. Then, it initiates a second vend cycle rotating the helix until the product is sensed as dropped.
You will need an eleven 32nd inch nut driver and needle nose pliers for the process.
