Upgrade to Accept "Tap" Payments

Vending machine card readers that are not compliant with the latest EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) mandate will no longer accept tap (Near Field Communication or NFC) payments, starting December 1st, 2022. This video helps you determine if your current card reader is compliant with the latest EMV standards and also how you can easily upgrade to a card reader that is.

Greenlite Seed devices are not EMV compliant, however Greenlite ePort card readers are and will accept tap payments moving forward. Old card readers that are not compliant with the EMV upgrade mandate will still accept magstripe swipe payments moving forward. To continue serving your customers who use mobile wallets, tap payments, and other contactless payment methods, you can upgrade your hardware at no extra cost.
